What is the difference between 1:1 tutoring and bootcamps?

• Our bootcamps have set dates during which they are offered. Our bootcamps stand out because they each begin with a live seminar about the core competencies of the course. 

• 1:1 tutoring packages are entirely flexible so that students can strengthen the skills that are most important to them, whenever they want!​

What programs do you offer for 1:1 tutoring?

• Check out our overviews of each 1:1 tutoring program, including foundational ELA skills, grammar lessons, ELL instruction, writing competition preparation, and even flexible schoolwork tutoring sessions.​

What bootcamps do you offer?

• Our most popular program is The Journal, a journalism bootcamp giving students the opportunity to read and write rigorous content every single day. Students learn about the components of successful journalistic writing, receive multiple rounds of feedback on their own writing, and then see their work get published online.​

• Our Sprint2College bootcamp is offered in several formats as the perfect tool for high school juniors and seniors to prepare their college applications. Students have access to instructors from top U.S. universities who will provide them with multiple rounds of feedback on their personal statements, supplemental essays, and activity lists.

What is Letterly for All?

• At Letterly, we believe in democratizing access to the liberal arts. By participating in our 1:1 tutoring programs or bootcamps, you are directly supporting the enrollment of a child in our free, community-based writing workshops.​

How do I know which program is the best for my child?

• Schedule a consultation meeting with our dedicated education professionals. Our team will help you pick a program that centers your child's needs and interests.​

What does my child need to get started?

• Our programs require students to have a stable internet connection, access to the Zoom meeting platform, and a word processor (e.g. Microsoft Word).​

What if I don't want to continue?

• Our programs are designed to meet the needs of your schedule. Cancel anytime in your student portal.​

• Once your cancellation is processed, you will receive a confirmation email from us. The change will be reflected in your account within 3 business days.
